Requesting assistance with uploading a list to Service Cloud
Before requesting list support, prepare your list:
- Find the appropriate Excel list template.
- Format your list; see Importing a list to Service Cloud using PeopleImport.
- Be sure every entry's "Last Name" and "Email Address" fields are filled; substitute or copy the email address to the "Last Name" field where missing.
- Remove all special characters, especially extra commas or forward slashes.
- Check formatting of names and email addresses. Make sure there are no spaces around an email address (Service Cloud will truncate or ignore bad data).
- Remove any obviously generic email addresses (e.g.,
no-reply@); Service Cloud will not send to them.
- Save the list as a
